I started to collect G.I. Joe again despite my efforts to curb the amount of things I collect. Here was how my Joe shelf looked about two weeks ago.
Here we have the heroes. There's Hawk, Duke, Scarlet, Grunt, Rock N Roll, Lady Jaye, Battle-Ravaged Snake-Eyes, Ace, Torpedo, Snow Job, new Snake-Eyes, Target's exclusive Night Specter with Grand Slam, and Duke with flag and jet-pack.

Up next is the Target exclusive AWE Striker driven by Crankcase with Hawk, Breaker, and Beachhead riding along. The Cobra Legions musical insignia leads the way for the Cobra figures on the shelf starting with an armored Cobra Commander, a regular Cobra Commander, Destro, Scarface, and a couple generic Cobra troopers.
Here we have Crimson hooded Cobra Commander, Wild Weasel, and three flavors of Crimson Guard, the Cobra Legions figures (Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow, an Air Trooper, Stinger Driver, and another Cobra trooper), new Destro, Storm Shadow, Firefly, HISS Driver, and an Air Trooper. Lastly is the Target exclusive HISS tank driven by it's driver with yet another Crimson Guard in the turret and the Crimson Twins, Tomax and Xamot, riding on the back.
What's on the shelf now? Star Wars Mighty Muggs. What happened to the Joes and Cobras? Well, most of them went to my friend Brandon as a birthday present. See, he collects too, but not as fiercely as I do. I'm also in the midst of a slow purge of material things, not all material things, just a good amount of them. Besides, I couldn't think of a better home for those real American heroes and their terrorist counterparts.
